Email Client Setup for Zoho Mail

Consider using the zoho mail desktop App!

When accessing from the web, please only do this via one.zoho.com and choose mail from the left side of the screen.

**IF YOU ARE USING Two Factor Authentication THEN YOU NEED TO CREATE AN APPLICATION SPECIFIC PASSWORD   and any references to a zoho password below will be referring to that app specific password

The detailed instructions are for Microsoft Outlook. Other clients may vary.

Click File

Click Add Account


Enter your email address
Choose option to set up account manually
And click Connect


In Advanced Setup screen, choose IMAP

Enter your ZOHO account password and click Connect


It will probably set your incoming mail settings to use the server address of imap.zoho.com and outgoing to be smtp.zoho.com
These should be changed to imappro.zoho.com and smtppro.zoho.com.




Note the ports from images above and make sure SSL/TLS is selected. Also note that Require logon using Secure Password Authentication is selected for both incoming and outgoing mail.
